Kanamon Privacy Policy

Kanamon does not collect, track, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no third-party services.

Data Collection

Kanamon does not collect personal information from you. The app does not use accounts, advertising identifiers, analytics SDKs, or third-party tracking services.

Learning Progress And Settings

Your learning progress, settings, and unlocked content are stored only on your device. Kanamon is built on Apple's own frameworks and makes no network requests of its own.

Microphone And Speech Recognition

Kanamon uses the microphone only when you choose a speaking activity, so you can practice reading Japanese words aloud. Speech recognition is handled through Apple's Speech framework solely for that activity. Nothing you say is stored or transmitted by Kanamon.

Game Center

If you enable Game Center, leaderboard scores are handled by Apple's Game Center service under Apple's own privacy policy. Kanamon does not receive your payment information or manage your Apple account.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. Kanamon never sees your payment details. Restore Purchases uses Apple's App Store systems to make eligible purchases available again on devices signed in with the same Apple ID.

Children's Privacy

Kanamon does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because the app does not collect personal data, there is no personal data for Kanamon to sell, share, or use for advertising.
